I’m Rachel, aka The Worrier here at “The Way of the Worrier.”

The Way of the Worrier is where I talk about reading, writing, and worrying–the main activities in which I engage during my free time. Some of my most frequent topics here are¬†anxiety, the gut-brain axis, personality, what I’m reading, and Millennial life.

Here are some things you should know about me:

  • I’m a defensive pessimist by nature, and an occasional optimist by nurture.
  • I’m a twenty-something lady with an undergraduate degree in neuroscience who is working in a library and pursuing her Masters of Library and Information Sciences (MLIS) online. (Yes, that means that I want to be a Librarian when I “grow up.”)
  • I prefer coffee over tea, chocolate over vanilla, wine over beer, and cats over dogs.

I’m a reader, a writer, a worrier, someone¬†who struggles with anxiety and depression, and a mental health advocate. Who are you?

If you want to stay super up-to-date with me and my worrying, be sure to sign up for The Way of the Worrier’s newsletter! You can also find me mucking around on Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest.
